Why I'm Here

🎥 Watch the Story

Three and a half years ago, Mystery Craters had been on the market for eight years.

Many people saw a property that needed significant work. They weren't wrong. There was plenty to do, and there still is. But when we first walked onto the property, we saw something more. We saw potential.

Taking over Mystery Craters wasn't simply a business decision. It was a commitment to restoring something unique and ensuring that future generations could continue to experience one of Bundaberg's most intriguing attractions.

The journey hasn't always been easy. When we took over, visitor reviews sat around 1.5 stars. Through hard work, persistence, and a genuine desire to improve the experience, we have gradually restored not only the grounds and facilities, but also the experience itself.

Today, Mystery Craters sits at around 4 stars, and like everything worthwhile, it continues to evolve.

What many visitors don't realise is that Mystery Craters has also become home to my own work.

For over two decades, I have worked as a nurse and midwife, supporting people through some of life's most significant transitions. Over time, my work expanded beyond clinical care into helping people better understand the connection between the mind, body, nervous system, and the way we respond to pressure.

My studio is located here at Mystery Craters.

From this space, I work with people using mind-body approaches that help create greater calmness, clarity, resilience, and connection.

Whether someone is navigating a major life transition, preparing for birth, moving through stress, or simply wanting to better understand themselves, my focus is helping people reconnect with their own capacity for growth and change.

There is something special about this place.

Perhaps it is the mystery itself. Perhaps it is the natural environment. Perhaps it is simply the opportunity to step away from the noise of everyday life and spend time reflecting.

Whatever the reason, Mystery Craters has become much more than a tourist attraction to us. It has become part of our family's story, part of my story, and a place where many others continue to create stories of their own.

And in many ways, the journey is only just beginning.
